2007-08 New Jersey Devils
It has been a rough few seasons for Jersey, as they continue to lose star players left and right. For instance, former Devil Scott Niedermayer left for Anaheim, with absolutely no interest in re-signing for the team he won three championships for. So they slowly try to make up for lost key players, signing Redwing Mathieu Schneider, only for Detroit to pick up Devil defenseman Brian Rafalksi. It is taking a while, but New Jersey is building a solid team – and in the meantime they have amazing goaltender Martin Brodeur to see them through… but for how long?
